GG NO RE NO QQ is a free online game. You can play it in a browser at ggnorenoqq.com, in the iPhone and iPad app, or in the Mac app. To play online, you sign in with Google, Apple, X or an email code, or play as a guest. This page covers all three ways to play: what we keep, why, and how to get it deleted.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address, and the account ID from Google, Apple or X if you sign in with one | To know it's you the next time you sign in |
| A guest account ID, if you play as a guest | To keep your stats on this device, and to move them to an account if you link one later |
| A random display name we give you (like "SaltyGhost07") | Shown to other players in matches |
| Match results: placement, kills, damage, match time | Stats and leaderboards |
| Chat messages | Sent live to the other players in your match. They aren't saved to a database. The game server keeps the most recent lines in memory, so that a report can include them, until it restarts. |
| Reports: both players' display names, whether each is a guest, the match room, the reporter's note, recent chat lines from the match and the reported player's aim stats | So we can check a report about cheating or abuse |
| Your IP address, for a short time | Rate limits and blocking abuse |
We don't get your password from Google, Apple or X, we don't read your posts or contacts, and we don't post anything for you. We don't sell your data or show ads based on it.
Where it's kept
- Supabase stores your account and match results (US East).
- Resend delivers sign-in emails.
- Cloudflare serves the site and protects the game server. Its Turnstile check runs when you play as a guest or sign in with an email code, to tell people from bots.
- DigitalOcean runs the game server (New York).
Your browser, or the app, keeps your sign-in session and your settings (like sound and muted players) in local storage on your device. We don't use tracking cookies, and the apps don't track you or show ads.
The apps
- iPhone and iPad: the app loads the live game from ggnorenoqq.com, with a copy built into the app for when you're offline. Haptics run on your device and send nothing to us.
- Mac: the app contains its own copy of the game, updated with each app release, and connects to our game server to play online.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and match results until you delete your account or ask us to. A report and its evidence are kept until the account of the player who filed it, or of the player it's about, is deleted. IP addresses in server logs are kept only as long as needed to stop abuse, then deleted.
Your choices
You can delete your account in the game: pause, then choose Delete account next to Sign out. That removes your account, your name, your match results and the reports you filed. In the iPhone app it also disconnects the game from your Apple ID if you signed in with Apple there. On the web it doesn't; you can do that in your Apple ID settings under Sign in with Apple.
A banned account, or one with a report about it under review, can't be deleted in the game. Email us and we'll handle it.
Email [email protected] from the address on your account to get a copy of your data, or to have your account deleted if you can't sign in. We'll do it within 30 days.
Kids
The game isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also show in the game.
